Charles Scott Byers, Field Superintendent

Scott Byers has been a field superintendent with Phoenix Contractors since 2001. He has supervised construction and renovation work on commercial, retail, service, educational, recreational, hospitality, health care, and religious buildings, among others.

Just one example of the high praise that Scott often earns: His supervision of the renovation of the electrical systems in a University of Michigan dormitory was described as “outstanding” by the commissioning engineer.

Before joining Phoenix Contractors, Scott worked for JC Beal Construction and Argon Construction, both of Ann Arbor. He was also a foreman for Tomek Poured Walls of Fenton, Michigan.

Scott studied business management at Mott Community College, Southern Lakes Campus. He is certified in Asbestos Training and Lead awareness by OSHA, and in standard first aid and adult CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.

Scott is a journeyman carpenter and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 687.
