Edward Szczerba

Field Superintendent

Ed Szczerba joined Phoenix Contractors as a field superintendent in 2001. He previously owned and operated Edward Alan Company, and worked as a field superintendent for FBK of Rochester, Michigan, and as a carpenter superintendent and foreman for Wunderlich Construction in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Ed has supervised construction and renovation work on buildings in the commercial, retail, hospitality, service, educational, health care, public, residential, religious, recreational, transportation, storage, and light industrial spheres.

Ed has worked on some of the best-known buildings and facilities in Southeast Michigan including the Fox Theater, Gem Theater, Detroit Zoo, Henry Ford Museum, Rattlesnake Club, Townsend Hotel, Twelve Oaks Mall, and many, many more.

Ed has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Detroit. He is certified by the American Red Cross to administer standard first aid and adult CPR/AED.
