John Visger has been a field superintendent for Phoenix Contractors since 1997. Over the years, he has supervised our construction and renovation work from auto manufacturing plants and auto dealerships to commercial, retail, service, residential, public, religious, recreational, health care, educational, and light industrial facilities.
To exemplify John’s excellent work, consider his work on the build-out of the Gretchen’s House Child Care Center in Oak Valley on the southwest side of Ann Arbor. Gretchen Preston, the owner of Gretchen’s House, had this to say about the project:
“I am very glad I chose Phoenix Contractors for the job. Throughout the learning process, you were willing to listen to me and take seriously my questions and concerns. You taught me a great deal about building. The professionalism of your staff was always appreciated. Were I to do another similar project, I would come to you first. Thank you for helping me build a beautiful place for children and their families.”
Before joining Phoenix Contractors, John was a construction superintendent for Freeman-Darling Construction in Livonia, Michigan, and a carpenter for Edrick M. Owens Architectural Company in Madison Heights. He also did carpentry work for Mellon-Stuart Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
John is certified as a construction superintendent by American General Contractors. He is also certified by the American Red Cross to administer standard first aid and adult CPR/AED.
